Depending on the weather or filming constraints (e.g., clients on site during filming), it is sometimes necessary to plan an additional day on site. In these cases, accommodation and catering costs will be added to the quote. My travel expenses are calculated from Toulon (83).

I can travel almost anywhere in France or even abroad if the project is large (see my videos on the island of Samos in Greece).
But I often work in the PACA region so as not to have to charge too much travel expenses from Toulon, my base camp 😉 So, I can shoot an aerial video in the Var region. Or offer you a drone shoot in the Alpes-Maritimes region. Or I can travel to the Hautes-Alpes, Drome, or Alpes-de-Haute-Provence regions, depending on your needs.
Long travel times accepted: Unlike other colleagues who have to monitor the profitability of their business on a daily basis, I work as a drone pilot as a secondary activity. I can therefore much more easily agree to travel far from home for a mission. Take advantage of it 😉
Aviation regulations are very strict in France. Drones (known as UAS or Unmanned Aircraft) are classified according to their degree of danger, primarily based on their weight.
To film inside private property, for example, to film a residential building, I have the necessary capabilities to fly in the Open Category.
If you live in a condominium, you simply need to request permission from your property management company. For neighbors, I must respect the « 1 for 1 » rule: 1 meter height for 1 meter distance. In other words, if I fly my drone to a height of 10 meters, it must be at least 10 meters away from all your neighbors. Maximum flight altitude (unless otherwise restricted): 120 meters.
But be careful: if your property is located in an area subject to flight restrictions, I will need to submit an exemption request to the DSAC (Directorate for Civil Aviation Safety) via the AlphaTango website.
The filming will then take place in a Specific Category. No problem, as I am registered as a European UAS operator on the official AlphaTango portal. I have passed the certifications allowing me to fly in all national (S1, S2, S3) and European (STS-01, STS-02) scenarios. Please see my portfolio for more information.
For most aerial shots involving real estate, commercial, or tourist sites, 4K resolution is more than sufficient, especially if the film will be distributed primarily online and on social media. Indeed, the display will be on a computer or mobile phone screen.
That’s why I’m equipped with a DJI Mini 2 drone capable of filming in 4K at a rate of 30 frames per second. Very soon, I’ll also have the DJI Avata 2 FPV drone, capable of performing feats for indoor filming or sports tracking.
Some shoots may require a higher number of frames per second, mainly to generate slow motion or other special effects requiring more definition. This is the case for sports films (slow motion effects, for example) or for filming films to be broadcast on television or in theaters.
If your project is of this type, then I won’t be able to accommodate your request and recommend contacting a production agency equipped with more powerful drones.
